Sweetwater- 'Terrain' AKM by Shockwave9001 Sweetwater- 'Terrain' AKM by Shockwave9001
I finally found the courage to build something for Sweetwater again.
I was looking in the SPW pool and noticed there were only a hand full of SPW'd AKs. Also, many people voted for the AK preset I made a while ago. So yeah, here it is. And I'm really happy about how this turned out.

- Keeb for the MPO. Thanks buddy.
- Born_In_USSR for the AK-100 receiver details.
- Noah and Snipes, thanks for the buckle. It looks great man.
- Juice for the vents on the top rail. I saw them on your WIP, and I just had to use them. TY bro.
- Lucky Striker for the Noveske KX3 flash hider. It's amazing man, I love that pig xD
- Woitek for the "Sweetwalther" logo. Thanks ma'am.
- Miko.Monday for the lettering. Man, I can't stop using them. You're awesome xD
- The Wezzy for the siderail, which I've modified.
- Stirling for those things on top of the upper.
- Beck for the SPW style, logos and details.
And finally, PMG Jake. You helped me a lot man. Thanks for the advice, inspiration and ideas. This one is for you!

Please criticise, and I hope you'll like it!

Nice but the blank space behind the receiver needs to have parts in order for proper function and recoil.

That's a negative, sir! It has a charging handle on two sides, which is why you see the white space there. The internals are not visible since the trigger group of the AK is lover than the bolt/EP, and the bolt spring is located above it. Otherwise you would see a spring on regular AKs as well, and you don't :P

Well from knowledge I know everything on a AK is fairly close fit but loose in the sense of durability a toughness, I'm not used to seeing open spaces on them, minus the charging area. But over all an ambidextrous bolt assembly makes lots of sense, Well made. With PMG it's hard to tell.

DAMNIT! why do all you flikr guys have to come here, upload your epic stuff, and make me feel like such a noob :shakefish:
but still, HOLY DAMN THIS IS SO PRETTY AND BADASS AT THE SAME TIME!!! the details are just amazing, though i would have put something behind the reciever so there wasn't a white space. and who doesn't love a firebreathing pig?

I'm sorry! Haha, I think it's because we've seen Flickr, we know Flickr, and we wanted to expand. In my case I created an account on DA just to report someone who has stolen my work, and after I did that I thought "Why not?" - and started uploading old things.

About the white space in the receiver, check the previous comment. Thank you very much for the compliments :)
